Have you heard the news? There's a new HIGH Fitness format in town, and it's just as exciting, vibrant, and fun as our other offerings, but with a low-impact twist that focuses on full-body toning. This fall, it's all about TONE! With all the energy and fun you know and love from HIGH, TONE delivers a 30-minute, heart-pounding, low-impact workout that’s designed to tone the lower body while still offering cardiovascular benefits.

Using familiar choreography, TONE is an easy, fun way to mix things up, minus the cardio and push tracks. Instead, we incorporate toners, slow & low, and barre tracks to create a unique low-impact experience that keeps your heart pumping without the strain.

WHY DID WE CREATE TONE?
We wanted to bring another way to share the fun and energy of HIGH Fitness, but this time with a focus on low-impact, lower body work. TONE allows you to enjoy the choreography you already love but in a more controlled, lower-impact setting. Don’t be fooled, though—TONE is still a full-body workout that will surprise you with how much your heart rate rises!

This new addition to the HIGH Fitness family has been on the app for some time, and after years of perfecting it, we’re thrilled by the overwhelming excitement it has generated. We knew right away that TONE was special, and seeing how obsessed people are with this low-impact, music-driven, no-cardio, no-push workout confirmed it! The 30-minute time frame hits the sweet spot for delivering results while minimizing the risk of injury.

TONE opens the door for more people to experience the fun and energy of HIGH Fitness, especially those who may have found our original formats intimidating. Now, with TONE, there’s no excuse not to give it a try! And guess what? Instructors can now add TONE to their class offerings, so you’ll see it in person at a class near you! You can also certify in TONE as a standalone format. So, as Gwen Stefani would say, "What are you waiting for?" Try TONE on the app, in an in-person class, or certify to teach it yourself!

FORMULA
Like all HIGH Fitness formats, TONE follows a specific formula to ensure a successful, consistent workout. Every class follows the same order of tracks for that familiar structure, but with flexibility in song choice to keep it fresh and fun! Here’s the 30-minute formula for TONE:

  • Warmup
  • Toner
  • Toner
  • Slow & Low
  • Barre
  • Toner
  • Abs
  • Arms
  • Cooldown

This is the same format as our other classes, but without the cardio and push tracks.

TECHNIQUE
As always, safety and technique are our top priorities. Look to your instructor for proper technique, and if you feel fatigued, reduce intensity or depth—but never sacrifice form. Proper technique ensures a safe and effective workout every time.
